Hey Ryerson! Welcome to our campaign. Fighting the stigma is important to us, and thats why we want to start a conversation and spread awareness about mental health. We also wish to provide @RyersonU students resources and info about mental illness and services on campus! It’s okay to not feel okay. But it's never too late to seek help.

In a survey of 30 Ryerson students a series of ten questions were asked pertaining mental health services and personal well-being at Ryerson. The findings showed that 60% of students who participated in the survey feel that their mental health is fair, while 20% feel that it is poor. See Figure 2 above.

Out of the 30 Ryerson students interviewed, twenty respondents said they would use the mental health services at Ryerson, while 8 said they would not. See Figure 3 above.

The chart below represents mental health statistics from 2016, comparing Ontario with Ryerson University. All data retrieved from the NCHA survey. It is important to note that in general, with the exception of stress levels, Ryerson scored higher than the overall Ontario percentages.
